The YWCA of Cortland strives to meet the needs of women and their families in our community, We consider ourselves an "umbrella" organization - because we offer such diverse programs that take care of Cortland. Our core program areas are:
aid to victims of violence
Providing a free, confidential service to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, rape and incest. We are here to help - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! [more information..]
bridges for kids and model moms
Our mentoring programs for at-risk children and young moms - whether you are interested in enrolling a child or volunteering as a mentor, we are waiting to hear from you.

The YWCA offers a wide variety of safe and stimulating childcare options, including the largest School Age Care program in Cortland County, ensuring all families in the community can access childcare that fits their needs.

health and fitness
Serving members and non-members of all ages in a wide range of fitness activities, from aerobics and aquatics, to indoor cycling and karate, and everything in between. Our fitness facilities include a women's only weight room with cardiovascular machines, a four lane heated indoor pool, as well as a fitness room, and gymnasium. [more information..]
breast cancer support group
The YWCA of Cortland offers a breast cancer support group that meets the first Monday of each month. [more information..]
