Please review the entry information and the entry process. Then fill out the entry form below to complete your registration.
ENTRY INFORMATION
  • A quilt is a fabric sandwich comprised of three layers: a top, a back and filling which are held together by quilting or tying threads.
  • Quilts must be in good condition, and should not be soiled, worn or damaged. Exceptions will be made for antique quilts that show wear.
  • We reserve the right to limit the number of entries from an individual.
  • Wearable art and accessories, as well as soft sculpture may be entered (as long as quilting is involved.) There is no limit on this submission.
  • If you are submitting a quilt on someone else's behalf, indicate that quilters name on the application.
  • If submission was created from a pattern, include the name of the pattern, the designer and the source of the pattern.
  • All quilts must have a four-inch hanging sleeve. If instructions are needed, please contact Kathy McMahon.
  • A label with the quilters name and quilt title should be sewn on the back.
ENTRY PROCESS
  • Entry forms are due by April 8, 2008. Deadline has been extended to April 23, 2008!
  • One form for each item.
  • Provide one photograph for each piece. Digital photos of your quilt can be emailed to kathy@cortlandywca.org.
  • If you do not have photographs of your quilt, you can set up an appointment to have its photo taken by Kathy McMahon by calling 753-9651
  • (Please note: photos will not be used to screen out entries, they will be used only for identification purposes during the show)
  • Fill out the entry form below to submit a quilt. Each item must have a separate entry form.
  • We may not be able to accept all entries due to limited space.
  • Confirmation of entry receipt specifying drop-off and pick-up details will be sent in late April.
