YWCA Cortland is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. We aim to meet the evolving needs of individuals and families in Cortland County by providing essential services and programs that promote health and well-being, support children and parents, keep vulnerable populations safe, and help to build a more equitable and compassionate community.

Providing survivors with support and tools to regain control and live their lives free of abuse. Free and confidential, 24/7.

AVV is a New York State OCFS-licensed domestic violence service provider and a DOH-certified rape crisis program. Our services include crisis intervention, advocacy, emotional support, housing, and prevention education.

Seamless childcare for ages 6 weeks to 12 years old that supports and empowers families and children.

Our childcare programs include daycare, before and after school, and summer camp! We provide an educational, social, emotional, cultural, and recreational atmosphere that is developmentally appropriate, safe, and stimulating.

Helping kids build confidence, resilience, healthy habits, and positive relationships.

We offer several free services that work preventively to improve children and adolescents’ self-esteem and lessen the risk of experiencing serious problems later in life.
